“What are the best shoes to pack when you are traveling? “
When people ask me that question I always answer with a question, “Where are you traveling to?” As if you are going on a beach vacation you wont need the same shoes as if you are going on a sight-seeing trip.
Either way, for your basics and essentials you will always need these. Ready?
First things first: A comfortable sneaker.
You always need a comfortable sneaker whether you are traveling by plane, sea or land. There is nothing more uncomfortable than running thru connections on an airport with flip flops, or tying to catch a train while carrying your luggage and losing a flip flop on the way. Should I even start about the heels?!?
There are many designers sneakers around that can give you the trendy, fashionable yet comfortable look we are aiming for.
I personally love the ragged look of the Golden goose sneakers and the trendy look of the Atlantic stars. Both range for about 500$. Of course on our site you can find them for a cheaper price!
On our site for 150$ - click here to buy.

I also love the casual yet chic look of these slip on sneakers Vince (about 250$). On our site for 50$ - click here to buy.

If you don’t like any of those Nike’s are always a good option.
Try to choose a style that look a little fashion forward so you can still can dress it up a bit 65$ on our site instead of 130$ - click here to buy.

Second must option: The Platform Wedge
What I absolutely love about this shoe is that they are so versatile that they are truly your must option for any vacation around the world. Why? Very simple! When you chose the right one this shoe can take you from the beach to best restaurant in ancient Rome and you won’t feel like you are wearing heels.
The platform wedge can be worn with shorts, a bathing suit or with a gorgeous LBD. Remember to try and stay within your color palette so you can really use this shoe with most of your outfits.
A few good examples are the MIU MIU (about 495$ retail 75$ on our site).

Le Silla in Multicolor (about 695$ and only 50$ on our site)

If you really have room for a third pair your best bet would be to separate the day from the night shoes. This way you opt for a day fun flat, slide or flip flop and a night heel.
My day flat option would be this PRADA in white patent leather (retail for 65$ and on our site for 75$)

And for the night time still I would go with a sexy, BUT comfortable to walk around shoe. Remember on vacation you might want to walk around before or after dinner, and you wouldn't want to miss on that because your shoes were killing you :)
Miu Miu Sequins Paillete (175$ on our site, versus 895$)

Of course you can never go wrong with adding more shoes, but unfortunately the airlines would beg to differ and who wants to pay those over weight fees, right?
Enjoy you vacation!
Yours,
Lorena
